A post-mortem examination will take place later on the body of a man found in woodland at Kilbride in Ashbourne, County Meath.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for information and want to speak to motorists with dashcam footage from the area on Friday or Saturday.
The body is one of two to have been found, in separate circumstances, in the same county yesterday.
Walkers discovered the man's remains wrapped in cloth, in an area of woodland near Belgree Lane.
The body remained at the scene overnight, but has since been taken to the mortuary in Whitehall in Dublin, where a post mortem examination will take place later.
In another unrelated case, a woman in her 30s has been questioned following the death of a man in Navan in County Meath.
His body was found in a house on Academy Street yesterday evening and Gardaí say they're investigating 'all the circumstances' surrounding his death..
