There were significant failings in how Gardaí handled emergency calls, according to a report to be published today.
It was commissioned by the Policing Authority, after thousands of calls weren't dealt with properly in 2019 and 2020.
Garda commissioner Drew Harris will discuss the report with the Policing Authority this afternoon.
John Mooney, from the Sunday Times, says it has identified evidence of both poor and excellent service.
