Police in Northern Ireland are on high alert this afternoon as Easter Commemoration parades take place.
The PSNI has said it has strong intelligence information that the New IRA is planning to organise public disorder in an attempt to lure officers into a trap.
Around 94 parades are expected to take place around Northern Ireland against the backdrop of a severe terror threat.
Ben Lowry - Editor of the Belfast News Letter - says the mix of opposing groups in Derry can cause uncertainty:
There's a significant number of groups that are trying to claim the mantle of 1916 and the fact that there has been quite serious violence in terms of, you know, attacks against arriving and so on against the police shows you that you can never know where any particular parade will go."
