Police in Britain have charged a 34-year-old man with the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool.
Thomas Cashman, of Grenadier Drive, West Derby, is also charged with the attempted murders of Olivia's mum, Cheryl Korbel, and Joseph Nee.
He faces another two counts of possessing a firearm to endanger life.
Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen says the force is committed to finding all those who played a part in the schoolgirl's death.
"I want to ask for that continued support so that we can keep the promise we made to Olivia is family and the local community to ensure that those involved face justice."
