People are being encouraged to enjoy the good weather while they can.
Temperatures are set to break 20 degrees in parts of the country this weekend, with strong sunny spells.
However, it is expected to return to more unsettled conditions on Monday.
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather says tomorrow could see temperatures of around 20 degrees in the south of the country:
"It's not going to be record temperatures or anything like that, but we haven't seen much in the way of heat, so it is going to get close to 20/21 degrees in the southwest, and generally up to maybe 17/18/19 degrees but with the light wind and sunshine, it's going to feel pleasant and it's going to feel warm at least".
