€230,000 worth of illegal drugs has been seized in Athlone.
Nearly 12 kilos of herbal cannabis was recovered by Revenue officers.
They were examining parcels at a premises in the area on Monday and Tuesday.
The drugs were discovered in three parcels that came from Spain, and were destined for addresses in Westmeath and Dublin.
