The number of overseas travellers arriving in Ireland is still 12 per cent below pre-pandemic levels.
However, new CSO figures indicate that the sector is continuing to recover.
Last month over 1.7 million people arrived on our shores via air and sea travel.
This is compared to June last year when just 160,000 entered the country.
