Police in the North say they are investigating a number of reports into a bonfire in the Bogside area of Derry last night.
Pictures on social media appear to show Union Jacks, an Israel flag and poppy wreaths placed on a large pile of pallets in Meenan Square.
The PSNI say the reports are being treated as hate crimes and they are seeking to identify those responsible.
Separately, police are also looking into reports of loud bangs in the same area shortly before 11.20pm last night.
