Nine million cigarettes have been seized at Dublin Port.
The consignment of illegal cigarettes branded ‘Lambert & Butler’ has an estimated retail value of €6.8 million.
Revenue officers made the discovery today with the help of detector dog Waffle and a mobile x-ray scanner.
The investigation is continuing.
