A bill which would delay an election in the North and cut the pay of MLA's is to be introduced before the House of Commons today.

New legislation from the Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton Harris will extend the deadline to form a Stormont Executive to December 8th.

There will also be the option to extend the deadline by a further six weeks.

A new Executive has yet to be formed since May's elections, due to a DUP boycott in protest of the Northern Ireland Protocol.
