More than 4-and-a-half million euro worth of cocaine has been seized by Gardaí in Dublin.
It follows a targeted operation in the Dublin 18 area.
Gardaí have carried out a huge cocaine seizure in the Leopardstown area in Dublin 18.
It was an operation attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Gardaí stopped a vehicle in the locality and discovered a significant quantity of drugs in a search.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of 4.69 million euro was seized.
A man, aged in his 20s has been arrested and is currently being detained at Dundrum Garda Station.
Garda Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll commented that it was part of an effort to tackle organised crime gangs within the drugs trade.
