More than 1.7 million passengers arrived in Ireland on overseas routes in June.
That compares with just 160,000 arrivals in June 2021.
More people came from Britain than any other country.
However, figures from the CSO show the number of overseas arrivals remains significantly lower than pre-pandemic levels.
There has been a drop of 12 per cent on June 2019, when over 1.9 million people arrived here.
