Microsoft has announced a second wave of job cuts in Ireland.
It comes after the company confirmed 120 layoffs last month.
An extra 60 jobs are to job at Microsoft Ireland.
Every business function within the company is represented at the Irish base, and it is understood that these 60 roles are part of the global cuts announced in January, but it just took some time to work through and implement locally, in-line with all employment law requirements.
This brings the total job cuts at the Irish office to 180.
