Mardyke Walk in the city is closed to traffic from today until the end of the month due to water improvement works.
Access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and locals will be maintained and traffic diversions will be in place with access from Western Road.
Irish Water says homes and businesses in the area may experience reduced water pressure and water outages while works are underway.
The road will reopen on the 30th of September.
