A man's in a critical condition in hospital after an assault in Dublin city yesterday afternoon.
It happened at the junction of Aston Quay and Prices Lane at around 1 pm.
A 39 year old man was injured in the attack.
The scene has been preserved for a Garda technical examination and no arrests have been made.
Gardaí say their investigation is ongoing.
