A man in his early 20s has died after a single vehicle crash in Limerick.
Gardaí remain at the scene at Carrigmartin in Ballyneety.
The deceased was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His remains have been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem is due to take place in the coming days.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after midnight last night ,and remain there this morning.
The R152 is closed at Carrigmartin to facilitate a technical examination and local diversions are in place until this is completed.
Gardaí at Roxboro are appealing for witnesses to this crash, or anyone who was in the area from midnight to 12.30 last night to come forward.
Officers are especially interested in speaking with anyone who has dash cam footage from this road overnight.
