A 32 year old man has appeared before a Belfast court charged with the murder of Geila Ibram in Limerick city.
The 27 year old mother of four from Romania, was found dead at an apartment on Dock Road in Limerick last Tuesday.
Her alleged killer was arrested by police in the North two days later.
Habib Shamel, an Afghan national, appeared before court via video-link this morning charged with her murder.
The Press Association reports the court heard he had been in Ireland since October 2022, and had applied for asylum.
