A man charged with stealing a car with a nine-month-old baby inside has been remanded in custody.
The alleged incident happened in Cabra in Dublin on August 28th.
Francis Broughan, of Shangan Gardens, Ballymun has been charged with three offences in connection to the alleged incident.
He appeared before Cloverhill District Court today via video link.
The 45-year-old is accused of the unauthorised taking of a car, attempted hijacking and the endangerment of life.
DPP directions are still being sought by the court, while the accused hasn't yet indicated how he will plead.
He was granted legal aid and an order to receive medical treatment.
He has been remanded in custody to appear again on September 20th.
