A man in his 50s has died after a crash in Galway at around half seven this morning.
It happened on the N65 at Moyleen and the man passed away from his injuries in hospital a short time later.
The driver of the other car involved - a man in his late teens - remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road is closed to allow for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are asking anyone who saw the crash - or anyone who has dash-cam footage - to come forward.
