A young man has died after an early morning collision on the M7 motorway in Kildare.
The pedestrian in his mid-20s was struck by a car travelling northbound near Naas shortly after 4am this morning.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are examining the scene and the M7 has been closed to Dublin bound traffic between Junction 11 and Junction 10.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
