Leo Varadkar says 'major change' is needed on proposed remote working laws

The Tanáiste says major changes are due because of proposed laws which give staff the right to request remote work.

Leo Varadkar has revealed the government is struggling to agree on how to approach the issue of remote work.

However, under the Right to Request Remote Work Bill, published in January, companies would still have the right to refuse to let staff work from home.

Future of work expert, Peter Cosgrave, thinks businesses should be allowed to have control over where their staff work.
