Labour will this morning table a no confidence motion in the Government.

It'll be debated and voted on in the Dáil next week.

Last night, Green TD Neasa Hourigan was suspended from her party for 15 months after voting against the Government on the no-fault evictions ban.

The Coalition won the Dáil vote by 83 by 68.

Wayne Stanley, Executive Director with Simon Communities of Ireland, says tenants threatened with eviction feel they've been abandoned.

"The reason we were calling for an extension for the moratorium wasn't that we would have a never ending moratorium, we accepted that was an emergency action, but we needed the time for these initiatives to bed in and protect people.

"I think the overriding sense I'm getting from people who are contacting us is that their Government has really abandoned them."
