The Justice Minister says a taskforce is looking at expanding late-night public transport for when clubs and pubs can stay open later.
Helen McEntee told the Journal.ie the overhaul of licensing laws includes making sure it's safe for people to get to and from towns and cities after a night out.
The minister plans to bring forward a bill later this year that will allow venues to keep operating late into the night.
