There's been a jump in the number of burglaries across the country.
CSO figures show a 10% rise in figures in 2022, compared to the previous year.
Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Graham Kavanagh says people can take steps to prevent break-ins:
"There are some simple things that you can do to reduce the opportunity for the criminals. First of all, an obvious one, is locking windows and doors, even when you're at home, but particularly when you're going out. Sometimes, what we see is people maybe tipping out for 15-20 minutes, and that's when they're targeted. So just using what you've got and locking the place up".
