Mortgage rates in Ireland are currently the eighth lowest in the Eurozone.
They went down from 2.64% in August to 2.58% in September.
According to Bonkers.ie, Ireland was the only country to see the average rate decline in that period.
It says that is down to the slowness of the main lenders here to pass on recent ECB rate rises.
