Electricty customers face higher bills, after approval was given to increase network charges.
The energy regulator has given the green light to a move which will see an extra 29 euro charge for the year from October 1st.
It's aimed at helping to fund the modernisation and development of the electricity grid.
Darragh Cassidy from Bonkers dot ie says it's more pressure for customers:
"Ultimately, it is bill payers and consumers that will pay for this. It's coming at a time when energy prices still remain very, very high and when also wholesale costs remain very, very high as well. So we've kind of a double whammy"
