Hundreds have turned out at St Michael's Church in Creeslough for the funeral of Hugh Kelly, who died in the explosion last week.

The farmer and construction worker from the parish was the oldest of the victims, at just 59 years of age.

Mr. Kelly will be laid to rest exactly one week after the explosion claimed the lives of ten people.

A jewellery box Hugh made for his niece was brought to the altar.

Parish Priest Fr. John Joe Duffy told mourners it represents his talent for craft.
