A human rights group says recent attacks on homeless asylum seekers in Dublin are 'extremely worrying'.
Violence ensued on the streets of the capital following anti-immigrant protests over the weekend, and several tents were set on fire.
Some 600 migrants are now homeless in Ireland, with the government committing housing them in new centres in the coming days.
John Lannon CEO of Doras says these people have been left on the streets by the Irish government.
"Acts that we saw perpetrated against asylum seekers in Dublin over the weekend are extremely worried.
"They don't represent the majority of Irish people.
"The people, mostly men, who have been left on the streets by the Irish government, are extremely vulnerable, they are at grave risk at people who are just intent on causing harm to them."
