House prices are returning to normal, according to the latest quarterly figures released today.
MyHome.ie say an increase in supply and a price readjustment should see the housing market return to pre pandemic levels.
The average national price drop fell by 1.3 percent, while in Dublin that price fell by 1.1 percent.
Chief Economist at Davy Stockbrokers, Conall MacCoille said rural areas offer the best value.
"The median is around €320,000. That's split between Dublin which is considerably more expensive, and the more rural you go the cheaper it becomes.
"There are some counties in Ireland where the median price may be as low as €200,000, there's obviously a lot of variation between cities and the more rural areas."
