Homes and businesses in the South East of the country are assessing the damage caused by flash flooding yesterday.
New Ross in County Wexford was one of the areas worst impacted, with roads and footpaths torn up within an hour of the heavy rain starting.
It's expected that homeowners and business people whose properties were destroyed will be able to apply for funding to help with repairs.
