The Health Minister is rejecting suggestions that he is refusing to answer questions on the secondment of Tony Holohan.
Stephen Donnelly says there is no question that he will not appear before any Oireacthas Committee on the issue.
Yesterday Sinn Fein called for the Minister to appear before the finance committee while an invitation is expected to be sent to the Minister by the health committee for next week.
Speaking on his way into cabinet, Minister Donnelly said they want to have the full facts following an independent review.
"We're going to have that report in a few weeks, it's going to be by an independent expert, a very serious individual.
"So let's just get the report, then let's sit down and have the most informed discussion possible."
