The Health Minister has described the suspension of testing of CervicalCheck screening samples in Ireland as a teething problem.
The new national screening lab at the Coombe has been forced to send all new samples to the US for testing.
The lab was set up in the wake of the CervicalCheck controversy in order to process Irish tests in Ireland.
Minister Stephen Donnelly says things should be up and running again in a matter of weeks.
