The Government's being accused of looking after the rich and ignoring the poor.
It's over plans to issue the €600 energy credit announced in the budget to the owners of 62,000 holiday homes.
It'll cost the state €37m, but Social Democrats TD Jennifer Whitmore says its grossly unfair.
Deputy Whitmore says €600 Euro is going to people who don't need it while lone parents struggle to pay their bills.
"Say for example a lone parent would get it, a carer would get it.
"Government is actually discriminating against those most vulnerable who actually need this money by not targeting and making sure that they get the main main share of that of the payments."
