Government Ministers will be barred from bringing their phones into Cabinet meetings from now on.
Government sources say it's being done on the basis of updated security advice.
Ministers will be asked to leave their phones and devices in a cubby hole outside the Cabinet room.
The move will be implemented from tomorrow and follows a number of controversies around the leaking of information from the Cabinet table.
