Men who are gay, bisexual or have sex with men will be prioritised for a vaccine to stop the spread of monkey pox.
The virus is not sexually transmitted but, rather, is passed through extremely close contact - and is currently prevalent in this cohort.
As monkey pox is spreading faster in this demographic than others, these men will be offered two shots of the small pox vaccine first.
