It's believed Gardaí in Dublin are trying to locate a chief suspect involved in the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy.

Josh Dunne was killed in East Wall on Tuesday night after being stabbed when a row broke out.

Another 16-year-old boy was seriously injured and a man in his 20s was also hurt.

Reporter with the Irish Independent, Robin Schiller, says investigating Gardaí know who they want to speak with.

"Efforts have been made to try and locate him, but they've been unsuccessful at the moment, but Gardaí are certainly hopeful of making an arrest.

"They're also hopeful of establishing who exactly brought the knife brought to the incident, which will form a major part of any future proceedings.

"We have three people stabbed, and Gardaí certainly are attempting to bring those involved to justice."
