Gardaí have extended their search for information about a deceased elderly couple to Australia.
81 year old Nicholas Smith and his wife Hillary - 79 - were found dead in Tipperary this week.
Officers are satisfied Nicholas Smith died of natural causes, but are still waiting for conclusive results on his wife.
Southern correspondent with the Irish Independent, Ralph Riegel, says Hilary Smith's body was not near her husband's:
"Mrs Smith was found in a living room come sitting room. Now further tests are still awaited. A particular focus is on prescription medications that were in the property because it's emerging that the couple, who were 81 and 79 years of age, both had complex medical histories and were being treated on an ongoing basis for a number of conditions".
