Gardaí are investigating after a man was stabbed during an incident in County Cavan this morning.
A man in his twenties was attacked with a knife during an assault in Bailieboro in the early hours.
He was taken to hospital with a suspected stab wound to the neck.
Two men, both in their twenties, were arrested and taken to Bailieboro Garda Station where they are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
