Former Taoiseach Brian Cowen's portrait's to finally go on display, 11 years after leaving office.
The painting will be put up in Leinster House in September, but is being exhibited in the Royal Hibernian Academy from tomorrow.
The last portrait erected in the Dáil was of ex-Taoiseach Bertie Ahearn.
The Office of Public Works paid a commission fee of €12,000 for Cowen's portrait, according to the Independent.
