A couple who were knocked unconscious by lethal fumes from a slurry pit are appealing to farmers to beware of the dangers on their land.
Mervin and Iris Clendenning from Co Longford were saved by Mervin's brother Stuart and neighbour who carried the couple out of the shed to safety.
Both are now recovering after the incident.
