Gardaí say an explosion at a petrol station in Donegal has claimed the lives of seven people.
Eight people have been taken to hospital.
It happened in Creeslough at the Applegreen service station just after three o' clock yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services worked through the night to free the victims.
It's thought the explosion happened in a building attached to the garage.
Rescuers have been working through the night.
A number of people are feared missing and sniffer dogs are being used to hunt amid the rubble.
A number of cars have been damaged by debris, and the apartment block behind the forecourt has been partly destroyed.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin says the explosion at the petrol station in Creeslough is one of the 'darkest of days' for Donegal and the entire country.
None of the victims details are being released at the moment but investigations are ongoing.
