Employers are eager to get junior employees back into the office following the easing of Covid restrictions.

That's according to a HR expert who says it's important to get new hires into the office so they can learn the culture of an organisation.

6 in 10 of remote workers said they would like to work remotely some of the time post-pandemic according to CSO figures.

However, managing director of Management Supports Services Ireland, John Barry, says new graduates realize the importance of being in the office:

"An interesting comment was made by a graduate during the lockdown period. And she started in the company, and she hadn't actually been in the offices yet and, as she described it, she was looking forward to the osmosis of the company. Because you learn stuff just by being around people, and when you're new, that's so important to make a contribution. You start learning stuff".
