There was a drop in the rate of unemployment in July.
CSO figures show it stood at 4 point 1 per cent, down from 4 point 2 per cent in June.
The June figure is a revised figure from the Central Statistics Office.
The seasonally adjusted number of people unemployed in July was 111-thousand 900.
