Drivers paid more than 344-million euro in toll charges last year.
M50 tolls alone brought in a record of almost 170-million euro.
Revenue is up 30-million euro compared to 2021.
Transport consultant, Conor Faughnan, says the figures show car journeys are on the rise:
"Ultimately it's a symptom of how car dependent we are, but it has become a cash-cow for government, I mean over €300m euro per annum the M50 alone making €170m, you know, that's nice money, but it's money that comes out of the pockets of ordinary people and causes a fair amount of collateral damage."
