Derry GAA manager Rory Gallagher says he's stepping back from his role this weekend.
Earlier this week, the GAA boss said he'd been made aware of a social media post by his estranged wife, which made a number of serious allegations against him.
He said those allegations had been dealt with at the time by the relevant authorities.
His latest statement overnight says his decision to 'step back' from his current role is borne out of a desire to protect his children.
GAA management has responded saying Ciaran Meenagh will be in charge of Derry for Sunday’s Ulster final with Armagh.
