Officials from the Department of Health will appear before an Oireachtas committee this morning to provide an update on the National Children's Hospital.
Over 1 billion euro has been spent on the project with still 18 months to go before it's expected to be up and running.
Representatives of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board and the HSE will also face questions from members of the Health Committee.
Sinn Fein Health spokesperson David Cullinane outlines what he wants to hear today.
"There should be an estimated figure at least as to what the total cost will be.
"There also has to be a date that the Department, and the HSE and the board are working towards.
"That's what we'll be looking for - when is that estimated completion date, when are we likely to see the hospital open, and what is the final cost likely to be."
