A woman campaigning for the easing of partner restrictions at maternity hospitals says they are marching on Dail Eireann today as their backs are to the wall.

Linda Kelly of the #BetterMaternityCare Campaign says they have engaged with the hospitals, the HSE and the Health Minister to move this along however she says every hospital in the country is continuing to impose partner restrictions.

The group say the hospitals are not in compliance with the national HSE guidelines and the restrictions are having a devastating impact on pregnant women.

Speaking to RedFM News Linda is calling on the Health Minister to intervene urgently.

"What we need to see is the Minister for Health to intervene in this situation as a matter of urgency.

"We want to return to pre-pandemic access for one nominated support partner in every maternity hospital across the country."
