Cork booked their place in the All Ireland Football Championship Quarter Finals yesterday.

The Rebels defeated Limerick 2-18 to 1-16 in Pairc ui Chaoimh

The draw for the quarter finals takes place at 8.30 this morning - Galway, Derry or Dublin are Cork's Possible opponents

Speaking to RedFM sport after yesterday's game, Cork boss John Cleary says that no matter who they face in the last 8 it's going to be a very tough game.

"We played Derry and Galway in the league, beaten by maybe 7 or 8 points but not totally out classed.

"I think the lads would know that we have improved a good bit in the mean time, we have players back that we didn't have then, and not alone would we be having a shot of it we would hope to be competitive and with a chance of winning it.

"A county like Cork, with the players we have at our disposal - this should be a minimum.

"We want to play in an All Ireland Semi Final, and over the next two weeks we'll leave no stone unturned in trying to get there."

Armagh will be in the hat after a 3-17 to 16 points win over Donegal yesterday.

Clare and Mayo were the others to progress this weekend, while Derry, Dublin, Galway and Kerry make up the remainder of the quarter-finalists.

You can listen to the post match thoughts of John Cleary, Cork captain Brian Hurley and Limerick's Billy Lee, along with analysis from Ger McCarthy on the Big Red Bench podcast.
