A 41 year old Cork man has been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of of his first cousin, Thomas Dooley.
The 43 year old father of seven was killed during a funeral at a graveyard in Kerry earlier this week.
Thomas Dooley, of Bay 10 at the Carrigrohane Road Halting Site, was brought before a special sitting of Kenmare District Court today, in relation to the killing of his first cousin, also named Thomas Dooley.
The incident took at Rath Cemetery in Tralee, Co Kerry last Wednesday, 5th October.
Det. Sgt Ernie Henderson of Tralee Garda Station said that the accused replied 'No Comment' when charged.
The accused was remanded in custody and will appear at Tralee District Court again next Wednesday by video link.
He is the second person charged with the murder of Thomas Dooley from Killarney.
The deceased's brother, Patrick Dooley of Arbutus Grove, Killarney was also charged with the murder.
