Cork hotels are being invited to apply for a multi million euro pandemic recovery fund.
Pembroke Hospitality and The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund recently announced a €50 million commitment to invest in hotels following almost two years of closures due to Covid-19.
The Hotel Investment Fund is hoped to help hotels above a three star rating across the county improve their facilities or support their cash flow.
It comes after a Cork hotelier received an €18,000 electricity bill last month as energy prices skyrocket
Speaking to RedFM News, Manager of the Celtic Ross hotel in Rosscarbery, Neil Grant says businesses are fearful of energy bills this winter.
